Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town

The location was fantastic and so close to the metro and lots of restaurants and the old town. It was also good that there was a restaurant on site that I used twice during my stay. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of food and was very tasty I had a problem with my room door not closing properly and within 10 mins of calling reception someone came and fixed the issue. There was complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioners in the shower which smelled amazing and hand wash and moisturizer near the wash basin (same lovely smell) will have to try and remember not to bring my own toiletries next time (and there will definitely be a next time) There is a taxi rank right outside the hotel which was very handy too

I liked the room, the proximity to the center of Bucharest, and the order and cleanliness of the room. Moreover, I appreciated that a bottle of water was offered to us every day since we were often thirsty. The hotel was well-furnished, and the price-quality ratio was excellent. We arrived about 30 minutes before check-in, and the room was already ready. This is not always the case; in other hotels we’ve stayed at in other countries, the room was not always ready right away.

For Bucharest, this is a good option. The breakfast is probably their best selling point. Location is good too.

Convenient, rooms were spotlessly clean, fantastic shower in the en-suite bathroom with high quality branded complimentary accessories as you would expect for a big hotel chain. Very helpful staff who were friendly and approachable. For the disabled member of our party, staff were especially kind at breakfast, supporting with assistance as needed. For those with mobility difficulties, a ramp is available at the main entrance and just a few steps to enter the reception area with a comfortable sofa close by.

Location was really good, just on the edge of the pedestrian area of old city so can get a taxi straight to the hotel. If it's your first visit to the city, the old town is where you want to be for the main attractions, restuarants, fountain show (weekend only) otherwise you could be walking for long periods which in 40 degree heat might be tiring. Stayed on a Sunday & Monday night (high floor) and no noise after midnight experienced (also stayed in another part of the city coming back & was more noise from traffic there than had here). Air con was efficient & quiet. View from room was good. Breakfast was decent. Staff friendly.
